I went through two of these in a week under normal use. It's incredibly poorly put together. With the first one I thought maybe I'd been careless with it. Bought a second and sure enough, by the fifth or sixth toothpick dispensed it was clear it was just trash. It's a shame because it's cute.

Bought it because my wife wanted a toothpick holder and I remember the bobbing woodpecker dispenser that my grandmother had when I was a kid. This dispenser works well and is very attractive, BUT... IT'S HUGE! All kidding aside, it's not gigantic, but we thought it was smaller when we ordered it.

It was cute in the picture and it was cute when I took it out of the box. It stopped being cute when it came time to load it with toothpicks and now I regret buying this and I want to light it on fire. The button fell out, and the small metal pin that pushes down the thing that pushes the next toothpick up through the hole also fell out. The bin that holds the toothpicks ALSO falls out. Seems like every time I load this it will be a 10 minute puzzle challenge. You need three hands to put it back together. It also fires the toothpicks up quite aggressively sometimes, so I recommend wearing safety goggles while using the product.
