I used this light for lessons (I teach music) and playing in a pit orchestra as a professional musician. It kept coming apart soon after I received it, and it was a very simple matter of a square peg in a square hole. It would stay together for a few hours, but as soon as the music stand moved, or I tried to adjust the light, it fell apart again. Today, the flimsy little wires inside broke, so this is now worthless. I've only had this for less than 5 months. I'll need another light right away, but I'll steer clear of this worthless toy. I suggest you do the same.
