Worked well all summer to cool most of our upstairs! We put it in the living room & cooled the entire floor including my office, the bathroom & the kitchen. Friends came to visit & thought we had central air! Nice & quiet and so easy to move around also!

Would definitely recommend. Works great for keeping my apartment cool and is good quality for the price. I’ve used this on multiple windows and never have an issue with it leaking in adverse weather, and it stays in place. Easy to install.

Overall, we are very happy with this purchase. The install was a little confusing because the directions are not very specific. Once in place the system worked great though. Our windows open outwards so the easiest setup had the zipper handles on the outside, which is not a problem for us because we can easily walk to the outside of our windows, but might be harder for someone on an upper floor. I think you could install the system on the inside of the window in this case but it would not look good. Aside from those two observations, I definitely recommend this product!

We have crank windows that open outwards and wanted to use the portable AC on really hot days.Installation was ok once I figured it out. The instructions are absolutely useless. But there was plenty of material to fit my large windows. It seems pretty secure once I got it on. The included zip ties to secure the vent were to short and my AC vent doesn't seem overly large. Luckily they included 2 zip ties so I eventually got it to work.So far so good in performance. We've only had a couple light rains so we'll see how it works on a heavy shower eventually. It definitely lets some heat in since it's just a thin vinyl fabric, but we closed a curtain in front of it and it seems to do nicely.Overall, it does the job as intended, but I have some doubts on longevity since it is pretty thin and only held on by Velcro tape.

I have crank-out casement windows, 68x21" along the outer edge where I installed the velcro - so the largest option was not quite big enough for my windows (needed 178" and this is 157"). However, it still worked because I put the unsealed side on the closed side of the window. The instructions were for windows that open inwards instead of outwards, so it was a struggle to figure out how to reverse all of the instructions. Thankfully I found a good video on YouTube - look up the casement window seal video from Morozov Automotive. I don't think it's exactly the same model of seal but it did the trick for me. I've had this installed for a month now and I'm running a grow tent exhaust hose out of it. The zippers are a bit flimsy and I am not confident they'll hold up to long-term use, but I am in a set-it-and-forget-it situation so I won't be opening and closing them, so I hope it will be OK for a while. Also, the fabric of the window seal already has some pinholes showing up - not sure if they're from the stress of the window being open or if they were there at the start. The velcro that holds the seal in place is strong and I've had no issues with adhesion, even in the 100 degree heat. I have central air conditioning inside and I feared losing heat/cool through the window but it doesn't seem to let heat in. My room is the same temperature as it typically is with the AC set. We'll see if that holds true for winter, but I suspect it will be fine. As far as rain, this window is protected by the gutter overhang, so it hasn't gotten very wet even in our rainy weather. So I can't attest to its degree of weather proofing if fully exposed. I do wish it had a better way to install a vent. As is, I run the duct tube out through a hole made between the two zippers and zip them up to the tube, but there's nothing to hold the duct in place and the zippers leave a gap above and beneath the duct. It's big enough that bugs can get in (maybe the diameter of my thumb). Overall I'm happy with it - it does not obstruct the view out the window, and is working as intended.

Bottom line, this produced served great for my situation. My house has old aluminum crank windows, so traditional AC units do not work well in them. Because of this, I had been searching and searching for something that would allow my portable AC to fit into the windows - these did just the trick. In fact, I bought several.Pros-allows me to use AC-keeps cool air inCons-have to use Velcro to keep it in windows, which once you remove the fabric (taking it off once summer is over) the Velcro looks ugly.

Its definitely easy to install and an economical product to fix the window issue with portable ACs, but the drawback is that it will not stop the hot air coming inside the room. Once the AC is turned ON its difficult to check if its really closing the gap and blocking the hot air seeping in, but take off the portable AC unit and close the zips properly leaving the window on a cold night. Your room will be lot cooler than the remaining part of the house.

If your city is hot, then these will not only melt off your window but make a sticky disaster everywhere. The application is easy but still is tricky to position everything without openings. Not great overall.
