I was not that impressed. I guess I expected something with more cushion and it was too flimsy and narrow to take up the space. I should have measured better.

Super Thin and Turned Yellow in 3 days. I had it folded up when I applied them to the AC sides, so you can see the color difference when I unfolded them.

The foam was a bit thinner than I was expecting, but still provides more insulation than the side panels that come with the AC. Also, be sure to separate the foam panels before cutting (it looks like one fairly thick foam bad, but is actually the 2 pads fitted together). After looking over the directions I decided that they were making it a bit harder so I modified them a bit.First, since the AC panels rarely fit tight to the AC, I cut the foam slightly wider (about 3/8") than the gap. Then I installed one side of the Velcro tape on the window frame and installed the other side of the tape on top of it (sticky side out of course) instead of taping it to the foam. Then take the foam and push it against the tape starting at the side closest to the window frame which then leaves a slight overlap on the AC side to cover the gap between the AC panel and the AC with the excess foam. It is a bit of work getting the Velcro tape measured and cut when starting, but by just pushing the foam up to the tape instead of trying to get it lined up on the foam is much simpler.Not sure how easy it will be to remove in the fall, but will try to update this when I find out.
