Ordered this printer to use in my vehicle and when travelling. I find myself needing to print randomly while I am out and about. This printer is easy to connect to my laptop and prints very quickly. I like how there is no ink or toner required as everything is done with heat. This printer is compact and easy to carry in my laptop case and backpack. This printer functions very well and has a good print quality.Overall, this is a very nice portable print for those last minute print job.

Great printer to have on hand for quick simple prints or travel needs. I didn't own a printer before ordering this one, and it will do the job great for my minor needs like return shipping slips or image prints for art reference. I was worried before using the printer that because heat printed paper will fade over time with light and heat (just like receipt paper), the text and images printed to it may fade too quickly to use. I tested this by printing a page and putting it on my front porch for three days in full sunlight, and there were no visible changes in print quality or depth. It rained the third day, and because this printer doesn't use ink, the page didn't run - hooray!The printer comes with a travel case and a USB cable, so I've been hooking up to my laptop and requesting the print through the mobile app. I have some concerns about needing to print through the app - if the app becomes outdated or defunct, the printer will become useless, and the company appears to be a minor brand name. But that is a future concern, and for right now it does the job well in a compact little package.

I had no idea there was letter-sized thermal paper and this is a game changer if only for that reason. Great to not have to worry about ink ever again.

Very lightweight and portable printer. I like that no ink is required. It uses heat activated paper. It comes with a carrying case with charging cable and 2 rolls of paper. There’s a third roll installed. I print from an iPad and there are some limitations. I can access documents in the files folder but only documents that I’ve saved to the files folder. An example would be emails saved to files. Also, notes and screen shots that I’ve saved to files. But documents I’ve created or saved to Pages app I can’t select to print. The workaround is to convert documents to pdf format. This allows Pages files to print. The printer uses Bluetooth to access. Printing is done from an App available on the App Store. Easy to use and the print quality is great.

The printer came with a dedicated case, 3 rolls of thermal paper, and a USB cable with adapter. This could have been 5 stars if it was easy to install the driver. I installed this printer 2 ways. First, from my tablet with the Aiyin app downloaded from Google store. The app was decent and I was able to print a couple of test pages. But I have this disdain with gadgets that can only be operated by an app. Sorry, but it's not like it's a major brand that has endless support. So, these tend to be outdated in time. Second, I installed it on my PC. It's not plug and play. You have to download a driver from a web address on the manual. With all the mess online these days... it's a risk. Well, I still did and it worked. Print quality is decent. To each his own for having a reason to print on paper. I sometimes will go out of state and deal with some paper work and have transactions that would require some form of paper print out. This works out just fine for me. Just to note, this comes from a roll of thermal paper. Don't expect cleanly cut edges. The hardware is fine. The software is question mark. But, for the price, it's a very good gadget to have.

Needed a printer for the occasional print when traveling and this thing is perfect it's light enough I can throw in my computer bag and last a long time. Definitely recommend this if you're looking for some quick print jobs on the go.

This printer is SO COOL! It doesn't require ink (it is thermal - Only prints black and white). Setting it up for the first time was super quick and easy, but does require downloading and exclusively using an app. There is an extra step involved compared to just printing from any ol' print page, but it isn't difficult. It isn't super loud, either. It is rechargable and seems to have a great battery life considering its capabilities.My only mild complaint is the kind of paper it prints on. It is similar to receipt paper, which is thin and tends to curl up. I am sure this can be gotten around by pressing the paper with something heavy after being printed, though.I would definitely recommend this for a travel printer or just for anyone looking to slim down on their bulky printer if they don't need color printing. This is definitely a cheaper and easier to maintain option.

If you’re using your phone, download the app by scanning the barcode on the top of the printer and it will connect automatically. For your laptop, PC or Mac, there s an included dongle to connect and it contains all the drivers for the printer!Not only does it print a full 8.5”x11” sheet, it can go all the way down to 2” for printing labels too! Makes shipping labels an absolute breeze! I couldn’t record the printing process while using the phone because I was on the app but I assure you it’s flawless!One thing to keep in mind is this is a THERMAL printer and will NOT work on regular printer paper. This is how they get away without using ink!
