I bought this because I thought it would be pretty cool and handy to have they say they give you 20 rods I only got 11 and they were damp I received the glass for the little mask but never the mask. I return the product because mine had to have been faulty The wires that hook into the bottom of the gun and the top were extremely loose and kept falling out. On the handheld that you can attach to the gun for the welding rod mine kept sparking I got more spark on the handheld than I actually did on the part. I gave it two stars because it is a cool design and if it works properly it would be awesome but the one I had there was too many red flags and too many safety concerns

First time welding. Never done any at all. It would be nice to have some operating instructions. Or chart for settings steel thickness. What to clamp to. Attachments where and how to connect them. Basically how to use the darn thing.

I have tested it for the first time and so far so good no problems I needed this since I am moving to Costa Rica and can not take my mig so this will be for any handy man projects that may pop up there and very compact to transport awesome product !!

I suspect this seller did a bait and switch with the original product listing being for JUST welding rods, which is what I ordered and got a long time ago and am only now getting around to reviewing. Now the listing shows an entire welding KIT. So I'm only going to review the rods though I sort of hate to include a star rating that is going to average into the Kit rating...I'm fairly new to welding so not a great measure of the best rods etc out there. However, these KingMiKi E6013 rods seem comparable to the ones I've used from Harbor Freight before. They seem uniform and arrived in good pristine shape. They are not as nice as some of the more expensive name brand rods I've used before, but they do the trick especially if you're just doing some basic repair work etc. They are fine for the price.
