I have the floral collection and I loved adding these bird salad plates as my flower plates are old and had some chipped and cracked plates. They all go together very well. Fun!

These plates are just the right size for my display rack and I wanted the assorted design instead of the same design since I was going to display them. The design on the plate is clear with the name of the bird printed below the bird. The are no chips or blemishes and the back is stamped 'made in England'. I love this brand. Delivery from the Prune Danish company in Texas was quick and the box with the dishes was wrapped in bubble wrap and then snugly secured in another shipping box. I would buy from this company again.

I've been collecting Portmeirion for over 40 years. The quality has not changed and in this 40+ years, we've only broken one plate - of 30+ place settings - and it was a stupid mistake that no dinnerware would have survived. Otherwise, no chips or scratches on any other pieces. I'm thrilled to complete the bird version of this dinnerware. Definitely, a beautiful addition to any table and often a subject of conversation when guests come to dinner. These were very well-packed, too. I would highly recommend these if you want something a little different that adds beauty to any table.

I ordered plates, bowls, tea cups.All packaged ONLY with paper.2 lucky sets made it in whole size.3 sets arrived broken. Returns from USA was on me. Cost: one hundred and twenty six dlls. Was planning on 12 people servings.

The glaze on this is defective. It developed hairline cracks when used in the microwave and now they have discolored. It is marked microwave safe but clearly isn't. I have a large Portmeirion Garden Botanica dishes and this has never happened on them.

Lots of apologizing from seller. Forgot about me and had to keep on the issue more than a couple times. Flecks on the glaze as this means that the firing was not done on a "clean" piece of earthenware. Not heirloom quality. PORTMEIRION very disappointing as birds look very nice. I had the first set sent back then asked to have the second set inspected before being shipped and but seller dismissed the idea as being unnecessary. Got second set with same problem. Some of the dishes were good but over all poor quality. I'm surprised Portmeirion couldn't make it right on second set. . I started this transaction Nov 13 2013 and finally got my money back Jan 14 2014. I felt the seller tried to guilt trip me as that everyone else was happy and I was lucky I didn't have to pay restocking fees and shipping as if they were doing me a favor.Seller was, Sold by tabledecordirect
