Worked great until it dropped on the tile floor and the blades popped out. I can’t get it back together so it’s useless. I’ll try a different brand. I still need a julienne peeler.

Original Review: I had high hopes from this peeler based on the reviews. But honestly, it hasn't met my expectations. I am not sure if I received a defective or a dull peeler, but I need to apply more pressure to peel than my old peeler which I have been using for a couple years. The peels are thicker and the peeled surface is not smooth. I didnt like it at all while peeling apples, peeling potatoes were ok, but not great.The julienne side was decent, specially for carrots. However the ends do tend to stick to the peeler. The peeler seems well built and is easy to clean. Wish it was sharper and peeled better.Update: I had originally given this peeler a 2 star, however now that I have used it for a few months, I am liking it more and more. I guess my first impression was based on my experience with my old peeler, which was of a different style. After using it for some time now, the sharpness has increased, I now know how to hold it properly so that it peels easily with minimal effort. Another thing I must say is the company really cares about the product and their customer. So overall this is an excellent peeler and even better customer service.

Works well! I’ve used this to shred vegetables and to make potato chips. The blades are very sharp (so just be careful!) which helps to peel and shred things quickly. The build of this peeler is sturdy and easy to clean. I used a brush to clean the julienne side to clean out any remaining peels to make sure I didn’t miss anything. Easy to use.
