Works perfectly. Start at larger end of egg because there is an air bubble. Insert device between eggshell and egg. Slowly slide it up and sideways. Fast & easy to use. Eliminates slow peeling

These are cleverly designed but may not be that practical or useable for some people. I found them difficult to insert between the shell and the egg and requiring more time and effort than it was worth to invest. In fairness, these might be useful for some people who learn a good technique for using them. They seem to be sturdy as well as "flexible." For persons who only make a few eggs now and then, the learning curve might be frustrating.

I thought I would try it since it’s made in Sweden and not overpriced. Got it yesterday, boiled 6 eggs, shelled 2 while hot, just cooled under tap, bashed out the bottom inserted peeler spoon, rotated and shell came off. Did some cleanup underwater but it worked well, no mess. Best not to insert too high, just rotate around bottom and use water to finish cleanup, simple & easy.

Very surprising (to me) that this item is necessary. Lots of boiled eggs are easily peeled but when you get a batch that are difficult this tool makes all the difference. I thought I might have been buying an unnecessary gadget, but this has proved invaluable and I love it.

Our friend has laying hens, and she is always giving us fresh eggs. This is obviously not a problem, but peeling them after hard boiling is a nightmare. The whites stick to shell and half of it gets thrown out. Tried other tricks but nothing really worked that well. Now have them peeled in a third of the time and they are near perfect ovoids. Devilled eggs , all around !!

Wow. This simple little tool might put deviled eggs back on my picnic/party menus.Have you ever kicked yourself for neglecting to buy eggs 2-3 weeks prior to a party or picnic where you promised to bring your "famous" deviled eggs, and now you've just got a couple dozen of the freshest eggs to boil and are deeply dreading the task of peeling them, knowing that it's gonna take a lot of time & patience ... and even so, you'll still end up with the inevitable divot or scar on the outside of the eggs?Fret no longer. This is the magic wand for boiled eggs. Tap the egg on its big bottom, insert the tip of the tool in thru a crack there, and just wind your way around, pushing the shell away from the white. The 1st egg will go slowly, but by the 3rd, you'll be zooming...and perhaps even humming a happy tune.Overpriced? Sure, if you consider only the manufacturing cost of these simple tools, and their uber-basic packaging. But once you've discovered how delightfully effective they are at releasing even the very freshest boiled eggs, unscathed & divot-free, from their shells, you may find yourself wishing you could personally send an extra check to the designer of this little tool. It's sorta nice that these come only in 2-packs, rather than being sold individually; once you've experienced the joy of using this tool, you can give the 2nd one to a friend who deserves a little quiet glee in his or her life. :-)

I like these way more than I expected to. In fact I wasn't going to buy them thinking that I could just use a spoon and do the same thing. However they do make piercing the shell easy and by going underneath the shell in a circular sort of motion that's the shell off nice maybe two or three pieces. That's way better than I usually to and I don't have tiny eggshell pieces.

Wow Wow Wow. This product works!!! By the time my coffee finished brewing, I had peeled ten eggs. I used to be so frustrated (I love to make deviled eggs) because of how hard boiled eggs are to peel. Half the egg stayed on the shell and the eggs were not appetizing to look at. Every frustrated egg peeler knows what I am talking about. I was skeptical. It was not expensive, it was simple looking, how could this work? The product is made in Sweden (go Sweden!) and there are no instructions except for a few drawings on the back. I looked at the drawings to get started. Cracked the egg on one of the bottoms, pushed the curved tip of the spoon (curve with the egg), and I started to rotate it clockwise around the egg at the same time I turned the egg toward me. Even the hard ones I was able to peel. I got the skin and all. Some of the eggs slipped out the shell and the almost the entire shell was in tact. I only had one that was not perfect because it had cracked in the boil. I understand why they give you two, because if you lose one you have another one as you will never boil eggs again without one. Awesome product! Thank you Jonas.
