This is very strong for the small diameter. Casts far and I use it on two of my heavy Ice rods for Pike and Lakers.

We have not been able to test this fishing line out yet. Have friends who are semi pro and pro fishermen and they highly recommend this product.

I've tried other braids, always come back to Power Pro. It's slick, no memory, sensitive, and strong. I like the bright colored line, since some of the strikes are subtle. You need to be a line watcher. I was wondering if the high visibility would affect the fish, but so far so good. I've added some 17 lb monofilament leader to my rig, which I think helps with the hooksets--a little stretch to offset the braid.

I have used J-braid x8 grand and the smoothness of power pro V2 compared to J-braid is night and day..... power pro just flys off the spool
