I purchased this electric sofa motor based on the seller's claims of "universal compatibility," but it doesn't fit my sofa at all!

Direct replacement for what I had. Original drive stripped and stopped working. Only issue was delivery time. Bought on Feb 17th with delivery ETA stated as Feb. 25th through March 10th. The item just arrived on March 10th. Technically, this is as stated, but why even put the earlier date when there was not a chance of coming earlier than the latest date? That is the reason for the 4 star.

If this had been the problem w my chair it would have fixed it. I have a faulty switch so returned it
