They claim this is a new product, but since I put it on in August of 23 I've had more slop in my steering than the original gearbox (which had a leak). I've had to preload this gearbox 3 times. Spend the money and get a RedHead gearbox.

Replaced on my 2015 ram 3500 with 142000k. Old box a little loose after the mile and use in commercial towing for our excavation company. We tightened the piñon on the old box up and it created to tight of a steering feeling As well as binding in some spots. This box made the truck feel new again, when added to all the other new parts in the truck, ball joints, wheel bearing units, steering rod ends and track bar, and shocks. We use this truck hard, drive the windy 101 in Oregon daily and put 36-40 k on the truck a year. The box was the last piece to bring oem feel back to the truck. We have a newer ram with only 35k miles and they both feel the same now. Napa and the other parts store including aftermarket (red head could not locate a box) happy with it so far!
