For everyone that’s getting this thinking it’s the products fault a lot of those power wheels are only 24v if you think 24v and 60v is the same your crazy. Of course your 24v motor will blow with 60v going to it it’s your fault for rigging something up and not knowing what your doing use a 20v adapter

Power wheel cannot handle all of the 60 volts from the battery. Within 5 seconds it smoked like all get out and sparks flying. I thought it was on fire for a second.

I found a barely used Craftsman battery push mower on the side of the road. It was missing the battery and charger which are proprietary to this particular mower and replacement batteries and chargers are no longer available from Craftsman and any that I could find were obscenely expensive. As a tinkerer, I found it is possible to comfortably fit a DeWalt 9Ah 60v Flexvolt battery in the original battery compartment. So I took apart the motor housing, removed the circuitry and original battery connector and wired this battery adapter directly to the motor and the handlebar lever. It was very easy to do since it had what is essentially a smaller treadmill brushed DC motor in it that ran on the same voltage as the DeWalt battery. It worked fantastically! It probably has a bit more power than it did originally since the mower would have came with a 7.5 Ah battery whereas the DeWalt battery I'm using is 9Ah. Getting the battery in and out of the adapter is a bit cumbersome, its a tight fit. The price was right and and it seems to handle the amp draw from a push mower just fine. On a full charge, I'm able to mow 3/4 of an acre which surprised me. This was more of an experiment to see if it would work. This obviously would be more difficult if it had a brushless DC motor. The adapter worked great.

All these posts means that this adapter works for Dewalt 60V flex batteries. Meaning sending 60V from the battery to the controller. If u want to use the flex battery at their 20v rate then get the 20V adapter. This WILL burn up the controller that cannot handle 60V

This is terrible. Just bought a brand new peg Prego Tractor. Over $500. I bought this part as it advertises for 60 V flex volt batteries. After five seconds of running, the motors smelled really bad, and the toy stopped working. The seller of this product should cover all the cost for fixing these toys now.

The only thing good about it is that it works with the flex volt batteries. The bad thing about it is that it sends the full 60 volts to the product you use it on. Within 10 minutes of hooking it up, it cost me a brand new power wheels car. Burned the motors right up. I highly don't recommend this product for any type of use. There is no way to control the voltage from the batteries.

Says it comes with three fuses, only came with one. No where to contact the seller through Amazon. The power wheels has reverse, forward, and fast. Put it on forward and my kids made it 10 feet before it stopped. Switched the battery back out. Luckily, fast and reverse still work but forward doesn’t work at all. It will ruin your power wheels
