When I bought a new budget-brand planer, I ordered an extra set of blades -- these -- for it. I have not worn out the original OEM blades, so have not used the POWERTEC units yet, but close visual inspection of them alongside the originals show the POWERTECs to be apparently identical, and at a significantly lower price than the planer manufacturer's available replacements.

I would have liked to have tried them but they arrived snapped in half. I missed my return window because I set them aside for a month assuming they would be intact when I opened the package. I guess I should have inspected them, dumb ol me.

The new ones that came I've been running for a week or so and I don't use it much. We will see when we get to a pile of oak or 🍁 maple.

Unfortunately the return date has passed but fortunately it broke when installing not when spinning. Will buy elsewhere.

was not able to use it as the blade broke while I was putting it on the planar. I was simply tightening the screws on the planar that hold the blade and were meant to be tightened. No other option for this size blade on amazon. Disappointed but ordering the same one.
