Over all a good product. 2 out of 3 have defects. An 8 x 2 inch run and a damaged grommet on the other.

this is actually a decent 70% shade cloth. I ordered another brand, same shade and it was pathetic. It might actually be darker than 70%. It's much darker that the harbor freight shade tarps. It's actually the real size. Usually tarps are sized by the rough cut, and when the sides are stitched it's about 6 inches shorter.

I use it over my Koi pond as providing shade, thus minimizing algae growth.. And giving fish some shade.

We use a 11x11 pop up gazebo in front of our RV awning, and these 10x12 shade panels allow us to screen everything in.Including the awning! This increases our outdoor living space, keeps us cool, and keeps most of the bugs away! Tarps work better for wind and rain, but we love these and we are buying more.

My Japanese ginger "Myoga" had yellow tips and was getting burned by the sun. I doubled the cloth over, extended it out the whole 15 feet and tied it down using the convenient metal hoops. I was a little concerned about doubling a tarp rated at 70% shade. To my surprise the myoga grew much taller than previous years raising the tarp up and forging its way out two feet beyond the mesh tarp. I had not anticipated such a dramatic growth increase by simply installing a shade cover. The plants produced more delicious flower shoots than we could eat. Now that I know how tall healthy myoga grows, I'll get some longer posts and raise the tarp way up!

i secured it with some fender washers and short screws to my wood posts. it doesn't completely block sun but is a great value and seems like it will last awhile.
