Pretty nice, looks to be durable/lightweight aluminum. I wish the numbers were etched in, instead of the cheap paint markings that will definitely come off after use. Overall it's very nice size to work with. The quality is better than I had expected.

This square is extremely light and as other reviewers have mentioned, easy to read. Engraved markings along with the painted ones were a good design choice. I am far from a professional carpenter, but this tool will help elevate the accuracy of my DIY projects.

This square is heavy duty and well-marked. That's about all you can ask for. I'm happy with it and I'm impressed with all the variety of measurements possible with it. I've been using it to make cabinets and drawers and I'm pleased with the performance. Works great for framing.

This is a very nice carpenter square. The aluminum is light but durable, and the markings are both engraved and painted, so once the paint inevitably wears off, the markings will still be legible. The size is great, because while I'm not doing rough construction, I do find myself working with 2"x10"'s and whatnot quite frequently- which my 6" square can't mark in a single shot. Happy with this tool!

Nice alternative for tile or finishing carpentry over a standard speed square. The extras like drill bit sizes I haven't used yet.
