This is warm and soft, and excellent for small birds. It is an appropriate size for a hamster or mouse as well, but I don't think it would hold up well to chewing. Easy to install and cute!

I ordered this hut for my little parrotlet, and I am absolutely head over heels with how cute it is! The foundation material is a thick, plastic type ball, making it a perfect base for a bird nest/sleeping hut.The yarn used is super thick and plush (exactly like seen in the ad), and weaves completely through the ball, making it safe and secure. Connecting the nest to a cage is pretty self explanatory - two washers and a wing nut (cage sits between the washers).All in all, I am extremely happy with my order, and I will definitely be purchasing more as my baby wears his out. 😊Oh, before I forget, the ad mentions you can use this hut for budgies, parakeets, cockatiels, lovebirds, and canaries. This nest is on the smaller side though and would probably house UP TO a lovebird (definitely not a cockatiel or any similar/larger sized bird).I hope this review helps! I have parakeets, and this nest does not specify specifically for parakeets, so I have no idea WHY I thought it would be smaller, but it was larger than I expected. Luckily my birds just recently got a cage about 3x the size of their old one so that this nest is larger than expected isn't an issue. This would not be good for a smaller cage because there is no way to mount it to the outside (unless there was some serious jury-rigging going on) so that the birds enter to the nest from inside the cage. I think this size nest could also fit Love Birds. But Cockatiels and Conures might be a stretch...No clue what the little "bear ear" things on the top are... those are a little strange but also kind of cute. I would say that maybe they are to hang the nest feom the top of the cage, but there aren't sturdy enough to last through bird beak biting at it.Nest is very soft, if I were a bird I'd definitely spend my time in there. However, I have not seen them actually go inside of the nest. But then again, I'd never actually seen them go in their nesting box either, but I know they spend time in the nesting box because they've altered the nesting material and there are feathers inside so... I think they are still a little suspicious of this new thing in their house lol.

I loved the concept of this bird nest—it’s shaped like a cute bear with vibrant rainbow colors, perfect for my little bird, especially during the chilly NYC winter. It arrived well-packaged and was super easy to set up. The built-in hard wires keep the shape sturdy, which I really appreciated. However, my parrot is completely terrified of it and won’t go near it, no matter what I try. Even placing bird food inside didn’t help. While the design is adorable and installation was a breeze, removing it was also simple, which I didn’t expect to need so soon. It’s unfortunate that my bird isn’t a fan because it seems like such a cozy idea. Overall, it’s a well-made product, but compatibility with your bird’s preferences might be hit or miss.

Super cute bird nest. It's soft and fluffy and has plenty of room inside for small birds to get comfy. It's also very easy to attach to the cage. The only small issue is if the bird poops in it it's a little difficult to clean the inside. So I just put a tissue in it to line the bottom. I really like it so far.
