I had purchased a Z-pad tablet and it fell off the end table while charging. And the tip got broke. So I looked on line and found a replacement power cord that is identical to the original cord. And since I learned how fragile these tips are I purchased 2. Great to have spare for travling as well. And I also noticed that they offered a cord for the car So also purchased that Item as well. You will notice that purchase in my next rating for that product. There is only about a 90 minute of battery life between charging. You can also plug it in and use it as well. I just hope I have made the person reading my review very helpful and infromative. This product was shipped to me promptly and wrapped in quality bubble wrap and was sent in very timely manner. I would like anyone to use this device and would want to buy from this website in the future.

I bought this to power a 7 usb port hub I bought. Like some reviews said the plug was longer than it should be but that wans't and issue for me.I have had this thing for about a week and just now it died. luckily i was hooked up to a surge protector that I believe saved a lot of my electronics but when it did blow My Macbook shut off instantly. I am fortunate that none of my electronics that were hooked up to the USB hub were damaged (High end gaming mouse, Gaming Headset, wireless keyboard, iPad, iPod Touch, and printer all still work.It made a loud noise when it died and when I unplugged it i noticed it was really hot. I would suggest spending a little extra money on a power supply that is more stable like i will be doing now

Supposed to be 2.0 amps but received these three as labeled 1.0 amps. No biggie for me at this price. I had bought 3 others under this name which looked as having the same build but they were labeled 2.0A, as advertised. One of those however had a yellow tip at the end of the pin which was larger than 3.5mm. I would buy all over again at this low price. By the way all 6 chargers read at about 5.4 volts with no load, and that is an issue to some people but not me. This is the only replacement charger I can find with the 3.5mm tip that fits my Model 774A HKC tablets.

Does what it is supposed to. Nice compact plug and transformer unit. Not too wide. Does not take up too much space on the power strip. Wish it had a power on indicator light but for this price point it is a nice unit. I received it very soon after ordering. The item the Amazon had this bundled with (and for it to be used with) was a "shipped from China" item and I just got it today .. 32 days after ordering .. so I have not had a chance to try this power supply until today and now my 30 day warranty is already over. I'm sure I will be satisfied with this product. Will edit this review and update it later.

I originally bought this power supply to power a USB hub I had but unfortunately, that particular hub had a non-standard power jack and the plug of this power supply was too big to fit in the jack. However, as I also had an external HD that could utilize this power supply, I kept it to use with the HD. By far the most significant issue is that the power cord is very short, only about 18 inches long so you'll need to be in close proximity to an outlet. This power supply is rated to deliver 5 volts at 2000mA. I measured about 5.3 volts at the plug with a voltmeter, which seems a tad high to me so you might want to keep that in mind before using it to power a power-sensitive device.

I bought this as a replacement for my Roku's external P/S which gave up the ghost as many 1st-gen Roku power bricks have done. The power specs on this one are just right, but the plug is way too small. I knew that going in and replaced it with the plug from my Roku's dead brick. If you're not prepared or able to do the same thing, be sure to measure the one you're replacing. Many 5 VDC P/S bricks use a 5.5 mm (od) plug. This one is 3.5 mm.The one I bought was sold by Oyen Digital and it appears to be a good P/S and the specs on it are the same as those listed in the product description. The P/S I received was not the one pictured, but it was a similar size and (after a plug transplant) it powers my Roku just fine.

This little external power supply adapter is deceptively powerful and an absolute must for anyone who a) needs more USB ports than their laptop or desktop computer provides and b) have purchased a USB hub only to find out that without an external power source to the hub it simply won't have enough juice to do what it needs to do. And for some reason many USB hubs do not come with this external power supply even though they have a plug-in for it.After some serious web searching I found this one on Amazon. The price was right so I took a chance and I'm really glad I did. Now my USB hub is more than a paperweight gathering dust on my desk and it's able to power everything from my mouse to my mobile broadband device and iPod Touch too.

A lot of these "wall warts" have really terrible voltage regulation -- for example, a wall wart rated at 5 volts and 2 amps might measure as much as 7 or 10 volts when the load is only 1 amp. This could be dangerous for a unit intended for USB/2.5" HDD use, where the load can be quite variable. This one is rated at 5 volts, 2 amps, and by my measurement measured 5.38 volts with no load. I think that that is low enough to not pose a significant hazard to any 5 volt equipment. So I would rate the voltage regulation of this power supply as probably much better than average for these kinds of units, and good enough to not be a concern.
