We chose this for use on our children's swing/activity center that we're building. We specifically wanted this for the disk swing we're using because it has the ability to both swing & spin around, making for an exciting ride that is able to go in all directions.The bracket that is screwed into the top bar of the swingset & is equipped with nylon washers that prevent squeaking & allow the hook portion to swing freely & smoothly, without noise. The hook is connected to the bracket via a center connector that allows the lower portion to spin 360 degrees, so whatever is attached to it can both rock back & forth & also spin.This is the perfect kind of connector for a hammock or swing that will often be pushed & pulled in a variety of directions. Because the top portion swings only back & forth, it keeps the swing from moving sideways too much & bumping into other play equipment on the activity center, yet it spins freely, creating the opportunity for an exciting ride.It's well made of stainless steel, so it is durable & will not rust. The hook comes with two carabiners that have screw closures for safety & security that keeps the chain & the swing in place so that it will not slip off. The chain that comes with it is five feet long, so if you have a swing that you're connecting to the ceiling, a hammock that's being attached to poles that are far apart or a tall activity center, there is plenty of chain to use. Or, it an be customized & cut to the length you need.The pieces are large. The connector is about three inches wide & four inches long. The carabiners are about three inches long & it's constructed with thick, durable metal & connectors. The hanger also comes with a set of screws that can be used in wood & another set of expansion bolts that can be used on concrete. This is very well-made, sturdy & it will not rust since it is completely made of stainless steel. It perfect for applications indoors, outdoors & on covered porches, making it very versatile.

I have worked with a lot of stainless steel. This SK CHUMRA Premium Hammock Hanging Kit is very good quality stainless steel and it is all stainless steel. There are no sharp edges to be found on any of the components and the threads and hinges are well made and work smoothly.Of course the beauty of this kit is no rusting.**Please note the description states 2 different weight load capacity1600 lbs and 1000 lbs. Remember, bottom line, it is only as strong as it's weakest link. Nice quality set.

Great quality Hammock/chair hanging system that you won’t be afraid to use! The chain is nice and sturdy, and the links are solid and closed. I absolutely love my hammock but I hate pulling out the big bulky stand and assembling it every time I want to use it. This hanging kit eliminates the hassle and makes things more convenient. I’m super happy with it and totally recommend it!

This is an absolutely solid hanging kit that from the looks of it is built to last, maybe even outlast whatever in the heck you plan on hanging.The included hardware (H/W) is pretty solid quality and durability as well. I don't have a need for the concrete anchors but it is great that the manufacturer included them for anyone that does. I have used these style of anchors in an industrial setting for hanging large support and they are great at that job, if you do use them be sure to not drill to large of a hole as they will not grip enough.The lag bolts are for my use and they appear to be a very sturdy bolt, the teeth grip into the wood as you would like. Again be sure to not drill to large of a pilot hole.The swivel moves freely even with weight applied and the entire kit looks nice.For now I can highly recommend this kit for its intended recreational use.

I have yet to hang this up, but from what I have seen from the construction is that this is a solid kit. it comes with all the hardware and looks like it will be pretty strait forward to mount. Looks like it does what it said it will do. No complaints!

I needed a very strong anchor to anchor exercise straps to a beam in my basement. This was perfect for my needs. One thing of note. The included lag bolts are 8mm (about 5/16”). I drilled 3/16” pilot holes, but the point of the lag bolts does not have threads. To get the bolts to grab, I had to drill about 1/4” deep with a 5/16” bit. Once I did that, the included lag bolts grabbed the wood and I was able to screw them in.

Was so pleased with this kit. Mounted to a stud and hung an egg chair from the ceiling and it is secure and sturdy!
