I installed this on a Gibson Les Paul with a coil tap. I’ve installed treble bleed circuits on my guitars in the past, so I knew what I was expect. And these circuits did not disappoint. Before the easy installation, the tone drop off was instantly noticeable as soon as I dialed back the volume. My Les Paul has a distinctive chirpy tone when I used the neck pickup alone and in tandem with the bridge pickup. When I rolled back the volume, that tone disappeared. After installing the circuit, I get that same tone as I roll back the volume, all the way to 1!This is the circuit you need if you use your volume pots. Dialing back the volume gives your guitar more voices. If you like the drop in tone, you can roll back your tone pots. That same sound remains even if you roll back your volume with this circuit installed. No instructions included with the parts, but information is all over the web if you search for it.

This seller has been reliable and this item looks good, maybe larger than expected. Workmanship looks solid but I have not installed one yet. I made a lot of changes on the guitar that I bought this for and have been too happy With it to tear it down again.

Soooooo glad I bought this one! I had read a few different articles about treble bleed circuits and how the value of the capacitor and resistor affects the tone and while this one doesn’t fit within the recommended range for the resistor, it’s perfect for my Strat. It’s very easy to install. Just take your time, bend one of the leads with two 90 deg turns and leave the other straight. After it’s soldered, fold it back onto the pot and you’re done. It has an orange drop cap and a carbon style resistor. I absolutely love the sound.

Works awesome on my Fender American Standard Strat. Sounds so much better with this mod. I get crispy high end that sounds like my normal tone throughout my entire volume range. This really solves a lot of my tone problems. My tone stays consistent from 1-10 on the volume knob. I feel that it also keeps the nice quacky sounds on the 2 & 4 positions more intact as well. Easy to install and made with good quality components. You owe it to your guitar to install this simple mod. This is what your favorite pro guitar players are certainly using. Eliminated my need for distortion/ OD pedals; now I can just roll the volume down for rhythm parts, and crank it up for leads, and still have the same great tone the whole time.

I have 250K tone pots on my Strat and I installed a YJM HIGH-SPEED VOLUME POT (500K).This mod worked perfectly on my set-up. Installation was easy and I am super satisfied with the result.

This is an easy drop in solution to fix your loss of treble when turning down the volume on your guitar. I installed this on the neck p90 volume pot in my Hamer gold top lp copy. I like to have a dirty amp or pedal for dirty parts of songs then roll the volume down for clean sections because I like the compression that adds instead of switching to the clean channel. This kept my treble intact and made the cleaner sections sparkle with the volume rolled back. Now your treble is always there when you it.
