I love that you can see into the left side of this book nook from the floor to ceiling windows and the all windows in the roof! ^_^ was really fun to put together during Christmas!

I am not the audience for this kit. I wanted the end product. This kit is as far as I can imagine from the end products. It's endless pieces with the end product not even imaginable from many of them. For people who groove on complicated jigsaw puzzles this might be fun. It's not to me. It's a nightmare of piece and interpreting instructions. I had an Etsy shop selling handcradted miniatures. My pieces were plenty cute and also made from scratch, but none required this many pieces to make. I've included some photos so you get the idea of the intricacy of the kit.

I have done kits like this before but those kits had printed pieces so I didn’t have to completely build every little aspect. Building a sofa, covering the walls…really, this turned me into a furniture maker, painter and - especially - a gluer.. It was, frankly, too much for me. It really is adorable and a perfect thing to display on your mantle at Christmas (this is a Christmas room) but - holy smokes - this is no one day project. The supplies include fabric, teeny scissors, loads of templates, and lots of little doodads that need assembly and gluing. The quality of the supplies is so-so. That’s why you really can’t fudge much on the instructions. If you glue something crooked or cut a tiny piece a little off, you’ll definitely notice it in the final product. You need really good eyes to do this. Not only because of all the minuscule pieces but also because the instruction folder is very small. I needed a magnifying glass to see the assembly instructions. This would be fun for somebody with great vision, a ton of patience, and who doesn’t mind a lot of “glue - let the glue dry - glue - let the glue dry” not to mention a whole lot of time.I would have preferred that some of the parts were pre-printed. To be honest, I couldn’t finish this. I got frustrated.

I have finished a large number of these models and I can say that this one is one of the prettiest. This one is an adorable Christmas scene, approximately a 1:24 scale (1 inch on the model represents 24 inches in real life), also known as half-scale because it is half the size of the standard dollhouse scale. All of the tools are provided although I added some other glue at some parts. Also, I used my own knife and scissors instead of the scissors in this kit. One thing that I really appreciated was that all of the printed paper material is one a thicker coated paper. It isn't as thick as a cardstock (I wouldn't want it to be), but I've had some that were super thin and this is a welcome change.I wish the fabric had been a little finer in weave. A lot of these models have fabric with a very low thread count and they fray very quickly at the slightest touch if I'm not careful. The fabric in this model is better than some, but I think it could still be a little better. All in all a very fun set. This would make a great gift for someone who enjoys these models, book nooks, and other 3D puzzles.

I wanted to like this DIY Tiny House - especially because it was a Christmas kit. This kit is/was a lot of work. The instructions are very vague and the tiny photos are hard to decipher so there was a lot of make-overs and do-overs. Nothing is perforated or precut with the exception of the large boards and the thinner, accessory pieces. No glue was included in the kit so you'll have to provide your own.I was very disappointed in covering the outside of the Tiny House with dull, brown crepe paper which stretched when it was glued. The printed material - which all has to be cut by hand - is on a shiny stock so any glue mishaps show up. All the cloth materials were wrinkled and had to be ironed before use. I worked for 4 hours on the sofa and it's still not finished which is just a reflection of very poor instructions. This is not the quality of Tiny House DIY Kits I'm used to and I hate to admit it but I gave up working on it after 8 hours without accomplishing much. Very disappointed in this DIY.

This kit is adorable! I haven't built it yet because I've only had it a month, and I hope to have it ready for Christmas. The details are incredible and it comes with every little part you need as well as detailed instructions. I create my own Christmas village each year, and this will be the addition to my little town for 2025. It's small, so be prepared for that if you have more trouble with little parts. But the proportions are perfect for what it is, and you don't have to add all the details it comes with. There are definitely ways to personalize how you make your own. The parts seem sturdy and with care, will be solid enough to last for years.

This kit is pretty well organized. Sections are packaged & labeled in separate bags, making it easy to find the correct pieces. The printed sheets of images and textures are very clear and the colors are vivid. All the tools needed are included: flexible ruler, scissors, light box, paint, but no glue. The instruction book looks like a catalog of mini objects, and it does look complicated. This kit is not a quick build, but if you have the patience, the finished “room” looks really cute and festive. I love the tiny Christmas details and decorations. This kit may not be for everyone, but it’s worth the patience as you end up with a really pretty Christmas scene.
