The clips feature a 7/16 inch wide opening that is designed to slip over the bottoms of both 3/8 inch and 7/16 inch thick screen frames for a quick and easy install. Retainer clips like these are designed to secure the window screens in aluminum channels and they’re used on windows manufactured by H and D industries. These screen retainer clips are easy to install, and no other fasteners are required.

These are a perfect fit for my aluminum windows with screens built in the late 1970s (don't know make or model). Most of the original clips were broken, so screens were quite loose. Snap these in place and they held the screens snugly, more so then the original clips. They come in two separate bags. Put the ones with the extra edge on the bottom, two each per screen. This little edge holds the screen on the bottom. Breathed new life for the screens. Super happy with how it turned out. Let's see how long these will last in the Pacific NW weather.

Thank goodness Amazon had these. I needed them to replace some screens that we removed for repair. These little clips easily go missing outside. Some of our screens wouldn't hand right without them.

They were too wide to fit in my channel and did not have a way to hold them in, up especially.

Purchased to replace several broken clips. These definitely hold the screens in but seem a little too tight.

Inspect carefully on receipt! I received two packages of the top clips, and no bottom clips. The bottom clips have a small ridge molded in that prevents the screen frame from dropping down so low that it disengages from the top clips.As a workaround a 5/16” plastic rod or block can be placed in the bottom track so the screen frame won’t pop loose. Without this a cat (or child) can dislodge the screen easily.

My father built this large "A" frame house 40+ years ago. I noticed we needed some screen clips for the windows. These are exactly the same clip! My father was an extremely methodical and very much a perfectionist. I replaced all of the clips so that they will last another 40+ years. He passed after only living here 25 years, but his memory will be here for at least another 100 years.

They don’t fit all window frames, but double sided tape will allow them to fit frames that are a little bit too big. They worked very well for me

Excellent item, great price, fast shipping, what more can I say. They aren't super clips, but unless you take your screens out all the time, these should last for many, many years before needing to be replaced, if ever. Pretty hard to go wrong for the price. Highly recommend as a viable replacement part for many brands of windows and screens. It's not rocket science, they just get the job done.
