What a waste of time and energy. Advertises with a remote control pilot light etc. Had it sitting in my living room for 2 weeks till my handyman could come install it. SHOCKED to only see the logs and grate. NOTHING else. Ridiculous and should be banned from Amazon for false advertising. do NOT waste your time or $$

First of all, this review is only for the the logistics of the shipping. After several months of researching my replacement artificial log kit. I ended up purchasing this kit from ProCom. According to the item offered by Amazon, the kit includes, the logs, the metal base, the NG valve, remote control, burner, and couplings/hose connector. 1st round: I received only the metal base, at first I assumed more packages will arrive, then waited a couple days more days and realized something was not right. I contacted the manufacturer and right away the manufacturer returned my email the 2nd day. After an exchanged communication with them they said that Amazon was responsible to fulfill the orders through their Wearhouse and the manufacturer had no involvement if their was missing parts or how the item was shipped. For me this is understandable and not a great deal, ok I just need to get with Amazon so that they can ship the whole kit. So, I contacted Amazon and forward my email conversation I had with the manufacturer and my missing parts experience. I sent the metal base item back to Amazon to have a replacement kit. After settling the misunderstanding with Amazon, I told them to send me a new whole replacement fire log kit as planned. 2nd round: The second shipment was delivered and this time is was only the logs inside the packaging box nothing else, I decided to get a full refund instead and returned the item. Right away I contacted Amazon and the person I spoke with was really apologetic after looking up the order history. Amazon's logistics failed to fulfill the order by shipping missing several parts with this fire log kit, this happened not only once but twice!!! NOTE! To Buyers. After learning that this shipping missing parts had "nothing" to do with the manufacturer. It all falls on Amazon and their logistics. Be aware of when choosing the kit. I read one of the reviews here stating to remove the item from Amazon, though again, this is Amazon's responsibility and NOT the manufacturer. I Hope this review helps anyone if they choose this purchase.
