I bought this to extend the water line to my new basement's LG refrigerator. I was moving it to a farther spot and needed a long line. It works great, it fitted the existing waterline outlet and with the refrigerator's intake without an issue. There is no leak. I installed it myself and DIY installation is very doable. It came with several adapters and for my installation, I just used one. It is not made of metal but plastic materials is of high quality.

These were perfect with helping to install an under counter RO filter for my lakehouse. Setup was a breeze, since there isn't much to it, and all the connections are very secure ensuring no leaks at all. The valve has a large handle on it which makes it very convenient to turn on and off. The materials are professional quality, and should stand the test of time. I would recommend this to anyone considering for sure.

I keep a few of these kits on hand. I have 2 RO water filter systems and although usually trouble free they can and will have problems at times. These kits have everything you need for installation or repairs. For the price and convenience these are good to have on hand.

I got this set to install a water line between my RO system and the line that feeds water to the fridge. Using the included fittings was easy and once I got everything plugged in and hooked up, I now have a separate way to get room temperature filtered water without relying on the fridge. The line is the same as the water filtration systems line so that made it super easy to just but the two lines together. Its fairly rigid so pushing it into the fittings got a good seal and didn't squish it at all.

I am reviewing DMTVAL brand fridge RO water install kit which at the time of this review was $12.99 for the 32.8ft kit. This is a pretty handy kit for adding an RO system (or other device needing a water line) when there is already an existing 1/4" water line in the area of your install. The included adapters are good quality, and make the installation pretty much foolproof. The additional shutoff makes this even more useful: if you have a coffee maker which requires frequent refilling, you can add a length of this tubing to the reservoir, and using the shutoff can easily fill it right there. We take a few seconds to top ours off while coffee is brewing; it's a small but nice timesaver.I would say the only thing I would want to see in a kit like this is a 3/8 compression reducing tee for existing undersink waterlines if you don't have the 1/4" available (the included 3/8 compression/push fitting is close, but I've never seen a 3/8 push line in the wild). With a double 3/8 compression tee, you can just pop it between your waterline and the cold side of your faucet, and then have the 1/4" line tee off from that. Otherwise, a nearly perfect kit and an excellent value.

I actually am not using this for refrigeration. I am using it for a water misting system. The system I am using is also 1/4 OD so it works the same. The connectors hold up and keep the water in and the hose is white, which is the best. Ever since I switched to the white hoses, I have found that I don't get as many spiders hanging out on them. With the black hosing I used to have bugs here and there because, well, they like the shadows and black cords in the greenhouse. With the white, I don't see them nearly as much and when I do, they stand out and you know they're there. This kit worked great for me, and it would work just as well for any other water pumped product you use of this size. It would definitely do well for a RO system.
