This heat gun is awesome works just as well as a lester heat gun no difference between except the price they look identical and work the same!!! I seam sealed a pvc roof for 3 days straight ran for multiple hours at a time!!(as the test) just remember the cooling sequence before turning them off thats what makes them last...

Not as heavy duty as old one. But 300 cheaper. Persice heat control.

Used the 40mm head for joining sheets of BTL RPE liner. Process was a bit difficult to get right for the thin liner I had (occasional burnt hole, or weak bond), but I do not think that this was a fault of the gun itself. Overall this hot air gun was easy to use and seemed robust (see power plug exception below).Deducted one star as the product arrived with a faulty power plug which worked only intermittently. Deducted another star for the instructions which were written in very broken English.

Unfortunately, the temperature control is all over the place. Seems like a well made tool, but if the temperature can't be reliably set, all it does is either make cold welds or burn the membrane.

Fired it up to do some test welds and noticed that it gets hot . With the leister, I weld tpo on 7, with this welder I'm putting down great welds on 4.. let it cool all the way down before turning off.. damn good welder for the price.

Tool was what we expected.Honestly it's the delivery that was too notch. The driver was available by phone and text and since I was not in at the moment he was there, he came back, and also took instruction to give the item to someone else.

I use this for asphalt based membrane flat roofing. In the cold weather it's nice to be confident in the seams. Idk about using this with PVC or TPO, but it works great with Self-adhered and Torch down seems.cheers

Heat gun works very well. Great value for the cost. Not manufactured with tight tolerance as the $600.00 ones. But if you are not using it 6 hours a day, it will last a long time.
