I would like to put grommets in various materials (usually sun screens), and so I bought this one.- Heavy duty tool that feels good in hand.- Lots of Silver and Gold color grommets (more than I will ever use, likely).- They provide another tool which is used to unstuck something, I believe.- It comes in a nice box, so you can keep all of these parts together.Almost every year I need to hang up a new canopy over the front courtyard of my home. The material usually does not have any grommets in it a all, and even when it does, usually they are not located in the right place. So I need a tool like this one in order to add my own.I wish I had known about this product 20 years ago. I have been doing it differently and it occurs that using grommets like this will help prevent problems from happening, especially in high winds.I can't wait to put this one to use.

While this may be able to set eyelets without the backing washer, it is in fact a grommet setter for the two part fittings that do have a backing washer. You get grommets in the package. It works fine.

These pliers make setting the grommets in easy and effortless. The handles are comfortable to grip and hold. They are perfect when I just need to set one or two pieces and don’t need to set up the whole press.The pliers appear durable and good quality.

Die Ösenzange wird zusammen mit zwei Mal 150 Ölsen in silber und in gold sowie einem Ausstandswerkzeug mit 9,8 mm geliefert.Die fertig gepresste Öse hat exakt 10 mm.Das einsetzen der beiden Ösenhälften gestaltet sich recht einfach, da in der Zange ein ganz sanfter Magnet verbaut ist, welche das herausfallen der Ösenhälften verhindert.Das pressen erfordert schon einiges an Kraft, um ein sauberes Ergebnis abliefern zu können.Das Ergebnis ist aber wirklich gut, keine scharfen Kanten und keine schräge Pressung.Die Materialstärke der Ösen beträgt 0,25 mm.Die Zange funktioniert recht gut und bekommt von mir eine Kaufempfehlung.

Not sure why anyone has had issues but this just works and well, no issues and the punch is really sharp and did not require hammering, just put in place and twist and push, job done, I used the punch each time then the eyelet fitter and perfect results every time, a bargain.

Great Gromit press, works well. I actually already had some grommets in a size in different colors so I have been using those but the grommets included are the same quality. The price is easy to use and is much quieter than hammering, lol. I'm still getting the hang of cutting the fabric but this tool majes the actual grommet pressing easy Peezy.

This is actually so nice! I've had a lot of issues with grommets and grommet presses recently so I took a chance on this and it's life-changing. I didn't understand the size of grommet, though, so these are larger than I wanted for corset grommets. I don't ever use this size grommet so it's kind of sad, but I am so invested in this press in the company. I'm going to go back and see if they offer the size I do need and I'll go ahead and buy that. I did get this one for free, so I am keeping it, and I do love it, But I think my willingness to go spent my actual money from this company after testing its product says something. I'm completely happy, and I'm extremely impressed. I can say after testing 5+ grommet processes of all sorts of kinds, including industrial, this has been my favorite. One of the presses I tested was over $150. And this one is better. Let that sink in.I have not a single negative thing to say, this is a complete perfect product in my opinion!!!

Got this because a couple of my outdoor flags had their grommets tear through the fabric. Works just as described. Grommet press works easily (although of course it requires a great deal of pressure to set the grommet) and an ample supply of grommets is included. The only thing that would make it better would be if the press was ratcheting, which would make it easier to apply pressure, but that would probably take it well out of this price range.

Attaches grommets seamlessly. This is definitely an upgrade from the hammer grommet method. The handgrip is comfortable and applies force well. The included cutter works cleanly. The downside is that its only one size.
