I bought this project box to make a custom power strip and was very surprised at how thick it is. I was worried for a bit that my switches and outlets would not snap in, but a little filing at an angle solved that quite nicely. The included M16 cable glands are a nice addition. They take a 16mm or 5/8 inch hole. I used only 1 cable gland and it's a good fit for my cable which I salvaged from an old APC battery backup unit.Screwing down the top was a bit tricky at first, but then I realized the lid is slightly bowed up in the middle. Simply screw down one end, but not tightly, then push down in the middle of the lid and the other 2 screws should go right in, then you can tighten down all 4.I didn't need the waterproofing features, but I put the gasket in place anyway. There's roughly 2 inches extra length to the gasket, so you can cut to fit, and it's super easy to put in place.

I bought this to use as a rotator control control box for a portable 12vdc antenna rotator. To my joyous surprise, it included weather proofing and glands for running wires inside. Also, the size is a bit bigger than I had pictured in my head, which was also a plus because my wiring does not have to be super tight inside. I cannot believe I got this box for less than four dollars!If you have a project for a plastic box of this size, this is the one to get. Hurry while they're on sale!
