I love this thing. This is a lifesaver. There's nothing worse than getting ready to put something on your grill or use your fire pit and only to run out of gas or using several of the tricks online to see how much you have in there well this removes all the gas work it tells you exactly how much gas you have. It's been working well for me for the past few weeks And I am purchasing others to put on my other tanks.

I learned about the necessity of this little device the hard way, as I suspect many others have. Imagine a gathering at your home; you have all the food on the grill, anticipating a wonderful meal, perfect steaks, grilled veggies, all the fixins', and your propane tank runs out, all because you didn't have a gauge to tell you how low your fuel was running! Embarrassing! Never again! So when I saw this little device I grabbed it up. This gauge is well made, super easy to install, just threads right in-line with your tank, is easy to read and accurate. For all us grillers it's a must! Highly recommended! 5 stars easily!

I am thrilled with thing. I guess it’s the simple pleasures that keep us going. There’s nothing worse than to plan on grilling, get everything ready to cook, fire the grill up, and find out ten minutes into heating that you’re out of propane. This simple device solves that problem for good.Its fittings are solid, it is as heavy duty as you can get for this price range and it works well. Installation is simple. Just plug it in to the tank and hook up whatever you had originally hooked up to the tank. It then tells you how much fuel you have left. No more mid-cooking empty tanks… or worse, out camping and not realizing you’re so low on fuel.Anyway, enough of me rambling. Just know that your getting your moneys worth with this.

Works great. VERY useful to know your gas level and avoid BBQ disappointment by running out of gas mid-meal. One unexpected and nice touch is the needle and the markings glow in the dark! Very handy. Heavy-duty brass. An indispensable accessory for any gas grill or propane-powered device.

This works great! It’s threaded to be an in-line accessory. It has standard threads and tightens right in. It does a great job of giving a visual indication of how full the tank is. No surprises!

When I received this, I had four propane tanks in various stages of use. So, I tried it out on all of them I had three tanks had been used a bit, and I could tell by shaking them that they had some (guessing 20% - 40%) propane in them. On those three, the gauge indicator went to the middle of the green - part way filled). My fourth tank was dead empty. When I hooked up this gauge to that one, the indicator didn't move when I opened the tank. So that says to me that this gauge works as well and possible better than others.You should know that these types of gauges on propane tanks are notoriously inaccurate. The guy at the yard where I get my tanks refilled, says just about all of them are still 1/4 to 1/2 full when the gauge starts getting into the red.I'll add that there is something about this gauge that seems to me like it is machined (cast?) somewhat better then the brass fittings that are on most propane tanks.All in all, I think this thing is pretty good. I already know that it works as well as any other propane gauge I've worked with. If it turns out the I'm wrong, or if this thing is more accurate than I thought, I'll come back an update the review.

This is a standard propane tank gauge. I have used several over the years, and they are not very different from each other. If you grill outside on a propane grill, then these gauges are very useful, and may be considered a must. With these you always know how much propane you have left in the tank. They are very easy to install. You can get along with just one, even if you have several propane tanks, which most of us, who do outdoor grilling have. You can install the one you have on the tank you are using ant that fine. But, what's even better is to have one on each of your tank. That's what I have, and it has worked very well because these gauges are not expensive. You should buy as many of them as you have tanks. They don't last forever, and I have had to discard a few over the three or four decades of work.
