This item only hooks up to the full size tank not the mini tanks. They should state that as well as include better assembly instructions.

This torch works as advertised and is easy to use. It's been put through three tanks of propane since new and works like a champ.

Bought this to burn weeds. Quickly removed the weeds. Just connect the hoses, turn the gas on, and you're good to go.
