Very thick and weighty. Look and feel of quality. It REALLY slows down my 15lb Chihuahua mix. Before, she seemed to finish her food almost as soon as I placed it down.She has to work to get the food out. Most ones out there had just a big bump in the middle or shallow, widely spaced protrusions, (which didn’t slow her down at all).No more burps after eating! Hopefully, slowing her down will make her feel full sooner, so she doesn’t eat as much. Vet says she needs to lose a few pounds (so do I 😉). We’re calling it our “Covid weight” 🤣 .

Not much to say here other than this bowl works for it's intended purpose, very durable, my dogs can not use their paws to flip the bowl over to get to the food like they did with the light weight plastic bowls we tried. The rubber trim around the base prevents the bowl from sliding across the floor.

I wanted to get a slow feeder for my dog that wasn't made of plastic or silicone, so I could feel good about reducing the amount of micro plastics that my pup was ingesting. This bowl is super thick and durable. Not flimsy at all. Really good quality at a decent price!

I was surprised how good of quality this dog bowl is. I wish all dog bowls were this high of grade. I removed the rubber ring that keeps it from sliding for now until my puppy is over the chewing stage. My previous bowl was plastic and my pup chewed the non-slip rim off and swallowed it, which resulted in me seeking a bowl she could not chew up. This one fits that bill great, I highly recommend it! It's high enough quality that it will last through all the pups you have from now to forever if you keep it clean!
