Great fit for my 11 year old, with room to grow. He wanted killer pads, but their smallest size was still huge on him. These are significantly bigger than the YS he had previously and seem thicker. Last set lasted about 3 years before the pads started to feel compressed, so happy with that.

bought the eight ball (appears to be the exact same as the triple eight) from Walmart due to the fun colors but they were totally cheesy. these protecs are like little versions of their serious adult pads. the knee pad has a non-elastic lower strap (like high end adult pads) which is critical for keeping the pad from sliding down. Fits my big 5 year old and avg 8 year old. nice job protec

These were perfect for my 8 year old nephew. He's average size and they fit him well. The knee pads were a little snug but not uncomfortable for him. The wrist protectors are great. These are perfect for skateboarding. I think these were the best quality pads I could find on Amazon.

My nephew loves them. He's been sliding all over the place on his knees. Not the intended use, but that's what he likes. Pretty scraped up, but that's what they're for. Its a hit.

My daughter just turned 10, not a tall 10 thought. I was a little concerned these might be too big, but they fit well.The big Pros for these Jr pads is by far the quality and comfort. If you have kids, like me, that have had the cheap starter pads from Target or Amazon that totally wore out and/or were uncomfortable, scratchy and slid all over the place - these are what you've been looking for. My daughter is much more comfortable with these, they don't move around and the velcro doesn't touch her skin. The fabric is a little hotter than just velcro straps, but she complained about heat in the old ones as well. She's sucking it up.One other advantage is the recognizable name - we see the olympic skaters wearing Pro-Tec as well and that does help with the cool factor and that everyone needs to wear pads!

Protec pads stand alone in the world of action sports. They are superior to any other pads out there. Ergonomic, comfortable and solidly built. Comforting to know my little guy is protected while he rips around the skatepark and bike park.

These are great !!! My son who is a 65lb 6 year old fits nicely in them!!! They do occasionally hurt the back of his knee. The Velcro if not done just right will scrape his skin if he wears shorts. but they are super high quality and gives him the protection he needs!!! However I do not believe he will be able to wear them next year as they are perfect for him now but when he gets bigger they will be too small. Luckily I have a nephew I can hand them down to, and I do believe they will last a great deal longer. I think I purchased the medium

Bought the size S for my almost 8 year old and the pads fit him well. They seem sturdy, they’re easy to get on over his clothing and he didn’t complain about them being uncomfortable. Great buy.

Great for my seven-year-old grandson- he's just learning to rollerskate and I insisted on a good pads. I read a lot of reviews of China crap being sold on Amazon however this is the real deal. These are good quality he falls right onto his knees and they protect his knees and they fit well and are fully adjustable. I would not order them for anybody that weighed less than about 60 pounds ...they would be too big

These pads are great...BUY THEM! As an old school skateboarder myself, I wanted the best for my almost 6 year old grandson who is just getting into skating. I had Rector pads when I was younger but sported a ProTec helmet and it was quality then as it is now. This pad set is very well made just like the adult size and will give little Max more confidence to try new moves - he's now dropping into bowls at the skatepark!. They fit him perfectly and look cool in all black...unlike other youth wear with cartoon characters and such. I got these a bit too late for a Christmas present so shipping was delayed a tad with all the holiday mayhem but that's totally understandable. We're very pleased with these and I thought the price was great for the quality. Recommended fo sho!
