I ordered these shorts to wear for snowboarding under my snow pants. First, they are not a universal fit and are cut more for males. Second and more importantly, the mesh lining fabric is extremely uncomfortable. I only had them on for a moment before having to take them off. I can't imagine the rash they would cause if I had actually worn them for a day. Perhaps if pants were worn underneath they would be fine but I wouldn't buy them if you want them against your skin (or if you're a female.)

My husband is an XL through and through, in everything we buy. We read reviews and bought him an XL (he’s 6ft 3in and 215lbs) we received them and they were giant even with boxers and thermal layer underneath. Returning for the Large for himFor me (5 ft 11in 125 lbs) I went with a medium and they’re definitely big, but I’d rather layer under them than be suffocated. Also, they don’t sell an adult small so this was my only option for theseThey seem like a solid short, about to go snowboarding for 3 weeks so I’ll follow up and update this post to let y’all know how they hold up

Good price, and great protection for a beginner-intermediate snowboarder.I highly recommend this to anyone just started snowboarding. This pad is not as expensive as Burton/Demon protection. But it is definitely enough for a beginner-intermediate snowboarder. since beginners fall down a lot on the snow ground, this butt pad is thick, comfortable, easy to move and protects tail bone. You won't feel pain when you fall down. However, this is not good for Park/freestyle player, since there's risks on falling on the metal reels/boxes. I recommend more professional protections like D3O from Burton/Demon.

I ordered these in a medium and wear a women’s size 10 US. I really wish I’d ordered them in a small because they’re a little bit larger than I’d prefer and tend to ride down while I wear them for roller derby. They seem to offer excellent protection against falls and hits. I have fallen a couple of times since wearing these and hardly feel it in my hips or rear. My only complaint is they are a bit itchy around the waist area and if you aren’t layering these over another article of clothing they will irritate your skin. I always wear leggings underneath of them. I would definitely purchase these again due to the low price and the good protection they provide.

Great for snowboarding. As others indicated, they fit a little large. That being said, they are not bad to snowboard in. I would buy again.

On last year's snowboarding trip, I fell hard on my tailbone on my first run and the pain lasted a couple weeks. I just returned from a 3 day trip with these padded shorts. I feel like they protected me as designed, though I don't know for sure if any of my falls this year would have caused the same type of injury as last year.Other reviews indicate that these run bigger than the indicated size. I am 5'11" and normally wear medium pants/shorts (32" waist). I ordered medium and I believe I got the correct size. The legs, hip, and butt areas of the shorts fit nicely and the pads are not uncomfortable.Where I deducted stars from the rating, however, is the design of the waistline. In order to get the rest of the shorts positioned correctly, the waistline has to be pulled up uncomfortably high - above my bellybutton where I would never normally wear any type of pants. the waistline of these shorts sits at least 4 inches above my underwear and my snowboard pants. It just seems like there an unnecessary amount of fabric building up the height of the waistline above where the top of the shorts were intended to be.

Well made and comfortable.A little roomer than expected but because Amazon.ca Canada has prices that make no sense I will not be ordering another one in a small. I got a medium for under $29 but the medium is $99. Not worth $99.
