The PRS SE Silver Sky Maple is a familiar iteration of the original Silver Sky model that was first introduced with John Mayer in 2018. This workhorse guitar provides ample tone and playability in three distinct colors, delivering looks, feel, and sound. The PRS SE Silver Sky Maple starts with a poplar body, bolt-on maple neck, and maple fretboard with PRS trademark bird inlays. The 22-fret, 25.5” scale length neck features the original 635JM carve and an 8.5” fretboard radius, so the PRS SE Silver Sky will feel right at home. Plug it in, and the three single-coil 635JM “S” pickups will bark and sing. This guitar is anchored by a two-point steel tremolo, synthetic bone nut, and vintage-style tuners. Other design features include the PRS Silver Sky inverted headstock shape and the PRS double-acting truss rod (accessible from the front of the headstock for ease of use).

These guitars are awesome. I own a fender player hss plus top and a fender American ultra sss. Is it as nice as the ultra no it is not.but for price point it’s a superb strat style guitar l. It’s light weight. Feels great in hand. It has a 8.5 neck radius the player has 9.5 modern c and the ultra has a 10 to 14” compound radius neck. I was worried that the 8.5 neck wouldn’t like it as much but found out it’s really great in hand. The sound is good my only grip is the cheesy plastic tuner knobs and the cheap plastic volume /tone knobs. I may see if the fender knobs will fit the pots because they are nicer knobs. All in all if you didn’t know it was a se series you think it was an American made guitar. If you like Strats you will most likely like one of these as well! Go try one out.
