I should have learned by now that if they hype up a guitar, pedal, or a multi effects unit there is a good chance that you may end up disappointed.I began searching for an electric guitar with a kill switch when I began messing around with synths and I ended up buying the this MBM-1 because of it’s price and the reviews that I watched, I wasn’t a Muse fan although I am liking them now, I just wanted a quality guitar with a kill switch.Right out of the gate it started out bad, the Amazon vendor shipped it via Fed Ex and we all know how that goes, I received the Out For Delivery message then I got the Your Package is Delayed Message “ it wasn’t even in the correct city????” Well it eventually showed up intact and the box wasn’t damaged, the guitar was packed well. Once unpacked the guitar looked and felt great although there were some quality issues, first the three way switch was loose, big time loose so I had to open up the guitar to properly tighten it. Second, three of the tuning pegs were loose, as in wobbling loose so I had to tighten them. There is NO WAY anyone inspected this guitar before it shipped, I buy quite a few electric guitars every year and trust me the only company with worse quality control is Gibson. On a better note the fret board was nice and the flat black paint was perfect, the guitars neck is super thin and fast. The guitar feels small and lightweight to me. The action is low and the intonation was perfect, the guitar sounds different than my other guitars, I can’t quite put my finger on it although I like it.I am going to give this guitar a try, is it worth the price? NO IT IS NOT, it should be about two hundred dollars less than what they charge.
