Rip open the bag and feed as a healthy, nutritious, and flavorful everyday treat or make mealtime more exciting for picky eaters by adding some PureBites Smelt into their food for a RAW protein boost. Train even the most difficult pups by breaking big pieces of PureBites Smelt into small training protein bites. Smelt powder at the bottom of the bag can be sprinkled onto any meal as a mixer or topper.

This is very nutritious and contains no unnecessary ingredients. I think it's one of the healthiest treats out there because it's freeze dried. Also because it's made with one ingredient. I feel safe and confident in giving my dog this and you can even use it as training treats because it breaks apart easily. I think it's very much worth the money!

It does say dog but further in it mentions cats so I thought I’d give these a try . My cats didn't care for them at all . I tried rubbing them and turning them more powdery and releasing more of a fish smell but nope , didn't work lol . I guess it’s great for dogs and less picky kitties lol

My dog loves these!! And they are low calorie. Can't recommend them enough. Have also given them to ferral cats I feel and they too love them.

We have three dogs, but not one of them would eat these dried smelt, despite eating other fish products such as salmon, tilapia, cod, etc. These are not returnable, so purchase with caution. All three of our dogs do eat the dried beef liver, so we'll stick with that.

The product is good, however I found the same/ similar, human grade, in a Chinese grocery store at a fraction of the price.

These treats are very popular at our house. Be warned - they are very stinky so if you have a sensitive nose they may not be your choice for treats. I love the single ingredient benefit and the quality is awesome.

I've rarely saw my dogs eyes grow that big as when she got the first bite of PureBites Wild Smelt Freeze Dried Dog Treats. She absolutely loves them. It is the highest value treat in the house right now.Quite frankly, I did not expect to see real small dried fish in the bag when I ordered the PureBisted Wild Smelts. But there you are: It is real fish. Not chunks of fish, but real small and whole fish. They even smell like real dried fish - because that is what they are. So yes, I can see why my dog is excited.If one does not mind the smell of fish on your fingers, the fish can be broken apart to create even smaller bites.All in all, I think the PureBites Wild Smelts are a high value treat. They can be used to either spoil a dog (as one sometimes might want to do), or to accelerate training as a dog will definitely pay utmost attention on how to get more of them.

These nice size treats look pretty crunch and smell fishy. As one would expect. Unfortunately I rated it a three because my dog wouldn’t try them. Will try again and re-rate later if something changes.
