But what if you need a 1.5? There is another model that does both. However, if you do 2" all the time, this is a nice product that will not disappoint. Reamers themselves are fairly new to the game. Once you use one, you will wonder what took them so long to invent! Or even you might wonder why you didn't come up with this idea!

This Blekoo 2'' PVC Pipe Fitting Reamer will work on any schedule 40 plastic pipe. Finally a tool that is a joy to use. It is very nicely made out of a solid piece of aluminum. The hex shaft is steel and the cutter is a carbide insert. It is designed to remove the stub of PVC pipe that is glued into a fitting so that another piece of pipe can be glued in. The hole that is left after reaming is designed so that a new piece of pipe will slip in. The small diameter is slightly smaller than the PVC pipe ID. The large diameter that aligns the cutter is slightly smaller than the fitting inner diameter. The cutter makes a precise fit. It can also be used to square of the end of mis-cut pipe. It cuts quickly and leaves a great finish on the end of the pipe. It will cut to about 3/8” from the absolute bottom of the fitting. I got several sizes because this is such a well designed tool.

Had to use this to clean out the old ABS pipe from. 3” fitting below the slab, I don’t know what I would have done without it. Go slow and make sure you have a drill that is rated for higher torque and continuous duty as even a sturdy drill I had started smoking and almost caught on fire when trying to drill out the fitting.

I decided to tackle a decent sized pool plumbing project and had a number of parts I wanted to "salvage". I also wanted to be able to save myself from my own mistakes. I initially tried using this with my drill press. Seems logical, right? WRONG. Worked horribly and I thought it was a piece of junk. It kept getting so hot that it was melting the pipe.I had a pipe that I needed to ream that I couldn't take to the workbench so I used my Milwaukee and 🤦🏼‍♂️... I'm an idiot. It worked AMAZING with a drill. Reamed it out in no time flat and was actually pretty fun to use. I felt very destructive, which was fun, but was actually being very constructive!Moral of the story, use it as designed and you'll love it. I did have some issues keeping the set screw tight at first but after giving it a good solid turn with pliers it stayed put.
