This deburring tool for plastic pipes is adjustable. It works on different sizes, so it’s versatile. Using it isn’t hard—pretty straightforward. My husband likes it for his projects. The blade smooths edges without much effort. It’s made decently, doesn’t feel cheap. He says it saves time compared to other tools he’s tried. It does the job for deburring plastic pipes without issues. Not much else to say—it’s a tool that functions as expected.

Kind of a clumsy design, it works but not well. It seems to 'chatter' a lot instead of being smooth, like the blade is at an off angle. It's too big to get in tight-ish spots if a piece of pipe is already in place. I only use it on new, loose pipe.

This is a great tool for working with pvc. I love how it has many sizes integrated. The only drawback is that it’s a little bulky so it’s great for loose pipes before you put them in place, but in many cases you won’t be able to get this up to chamfer an already placed piece of pipe

I had the same issue as others who reviewed this. The opening is too large to fit a regular sched 40 pvc pipe without really having to pressure the pipe up against the blade. At that point, you're basically just do the same action as if you were just doing it with a razor knife. I put primer on the end and showed a before and after photo so you could see. While it did end up chamfering the end, it was not a smooth process, and when cutting pipe with a recipe saw instead of a miter saw, you might not have the smoothest of cuts, which makes the process even harder...and what plumber really breaks out a miter saw to cut pvc pipe? They built this to look just like an expensive name brand tool that is spring loaded and actually locks itself into place when attached. This tool doesn't have the same action and would fall right off. While it is a third the price, the savings doesn't make up for the frustration level.

As others have said I expected this to hold the pipe into place to deburr the pipe, but (at least with schedule 40 PVC pipe) you have to press it into the blade as you turn the pipe, something that isn't easy to do. And if that is how it's supposed to work why is 1-1/4 as small as it can deburr (or 1" if you do by the pictures)I'm getting other one that goes down to smaller sizes, if it's the same I might up the rating by a star and just critique the style of the derring tool, but for now, I have to think it's designed badly.

This is much smaller than it shows in the photos which actually is good nobody wants to be any bigger than is necessary but they kind of make it look huge in the photo. It measures 2 -1/2" x 4- 1/2" which is actually perfect as it fits exactly in your hand and then you can hold it over the end of the pipe comfortably to rotate it. End it will not take up a large amount of space in the toolbox They talk about multiple blades but it appears that there's only one blade but it has two edges on it so you can flip it over and use the other side. In my world that's one blade. It's fairly small but they claim you can re-sharpen it I suppose maybe with a file?. I would've much liked it if they had simply given me several spares or the ability to order more blades. But How - no info? The blade is thick ,it is not a razor blade. Or they could've made the blade carbide and it wold have lasted for ever.

This deburring tube does not fit standard PVC pipe sizes. There is about 1/8-inch gap between the pipe and the cutter. In other words, the pipe diameter is too small, or the tool diameters are too big. The image shows sample diameters tightly fitting in the various grooves. This is inaccurate.Trying to press the pipe into the cutter is awkward and ineffective. The tool is essentially useless.
