You get what you pay for. Flimsy. Can’t keep straight. Good idea but need much better material

I bought this baffle for an audio book project. It arrived several days late from the promised delivery date, which delayed my project. When I tried to put it together, the directions said to remove the knob in the middle in order to lower the circular metal grip around the lower part of the pole, to then replace the knob and add the top pole back into the bottom pole, and attach the upper circular metal grip to the top pole.Easy enough, right? Well, the knob wouldn't come off. I released its lock and pulled and pulled. Needless to say, there were NO directions re: how to remove it.I called Amazon and my call was forwarded to someone who'd never seen this baffle before, and didn't have a clue re: what to do. She was lovely, but her english wasn't very good, so she told me she was going to call the company and that I should stay on hold but that she wasn't allowed to get back to me and would call back in a few days (which she never did), so we got stuck going back and forth re: her conflicting directions. She finally placed me on hold and then put me through to the manufacturer. He said, "pull the pin out in order to remove the middle knob," an hour on the phone all told. Of course, this wasn't in the directions. And, try as I did (pliers followed by—in utter desperation—the back of a hammer as if to pull out a nail), but it wouldn't budge. That was another hour of my time.So I contacted Amazon and they did an exchange. That took another week, delaying my project even further. The new baffle arrived today, but its pin didn't even move a 1/4" like the last one. Stuck Stuck Stuck. I gave up and hung the baffle on the top pole, didn't bother to attach the bottom rack that keeps it from curling, and will use it without being able to attach the bottom of the baffle to the bottom pole.SO ... my recommendation? Go with a different company. The price was low, but was it worth all the delays, speaking with people who didn't know the product? Absolutely NOT!

I feel the product is very in expensively made. For the price I feel is not worth as it does not do much to cancel noise I have other products on my walls and floor that help but this product is not wide enough as it’s should be for the price

Despite my personal thoughts on the price, these are very solid products. The foam quality is superb, dense, thick, doesn’t feel cheap at all. The stands are of decent quality as well. Purchased these to use a spot treatment for recording vocals or acoustic instruments. They do the job wonderfully. The only negative is the price. I purchased two, and while I am happy with the product. At this price I can’t justify purchasing more.

I put this at the back of my theater behind the MLP where I have an open doorway. It went right in the doorway where I couldn't place a traditional panel. The foam is nice and thick, the unit is light so moving it in and out of the doorway is easy, the height is adjustable and I noticed a crisp, tightening up of bass in music. My friend even commented on the improvement who isn't even in the hobby. Great item and worth the price obviously. BTW, the stand is light but sturdy enough and just read directions when assembling.

It works well but unfortunately it got ripped when we were installing the pole :(

This was pretty expensive. Even though i got the used one — which was ~$80 it is pretty low quality. The tripod is plastic— which is enough, but the clips that should hold it does not hold it strong enough. Little nudge from the top it goes down. The foam is good though but you gotta lay it flat cuz it comes rolled up. There’s also not enough instructions. I was not aware That i was suppose to remove the clip clamp on the tripod to get the bottom lock going. It took me long enough to think of “forcing” it out. Other than that it does stand. I should have probably bought the foam panels that are cheaper because those are the same overall wise as this one.

I bought 4 of these panels as an easy set-up solution for soundproofing an area of a room temporarily as needed. They arrived in a timely manner, but once I opened the box it was evident that the quality of the product was significantly less than the pictures and description indicated. The foam smelled "like death", which I may have been able to air out and accept if the pole that came with it was sturdy. It immediately bent as I was trying to mount the foam to the frame - which, by the way, is a panel in the sense of 'a panel of foam was cut to these dimensions' and not a structured panel that retains shape - and so I returned all 4 of them.
