There's a loud pop when you turn it on, and this unit does not have any headphone jacks. Otherwise, the sound is really good.

First unit arrived and failed less than a year after purchase. Company replaced the unit with an old model unit, not what I purchased. The second unit failed out of the box. Unable to turn volume up past level 3 or the unit would crackle and cut out playing music. Went back to company and they want me to pay for returning the defective item so they can try to fix it. Unacceptable!!! The customer service group has now stopped contacting me back in regard to this situation. Do not buy these garbage units and definitely do not buy from this company.

First, it is loaded with bells and whistles, mic inputs, usb, mpr etc. etc. "loaded". Great, but all I use it for is FM radio and the bluetooth (has separate external antenna). The sound is incredible (remote has an excellent eq function), and the wattage is too great to realize through my high-end Andrew Jones designed Pioneer sp-bs22-lr speakers. They pump out loud, clear sound and the master volume (big blue dial on front of unit, and the only thing I ever touch after initial set-up, which is discussed further below) is only turned up the first third. I think the unit looks incredible, cosmetically it works for me, the excellent build quality shows. I mean, this beauty only cost me like $37, shipped free, and it's great.Comes with FM antenna, clicks right in and I have been getting excellent FM reception. Back to the remote, a solid, well built thick unit, not one of those glossy thin credit card remotes that fall apart fast. Trust me, excellent remote, but the remote didn't work well with the unit out of the box. A quick look-see disclosed the included remote battery is a joke, but, I just popped a brand new Sony 2025 lithium cell (50 cents) in the remote and now it works like a charm. That's the only single teeny flaw in the whole package, very minor, an easy fix. Remember the remote battery if you buy a unit, and I highly recommend the PYLE PDA6BU.7Bluetooth range, don't know but maybe 18 feet where I have it, can't vouch for the total range, but it works fine for me, and remember there's a bluetooth antenna that can be positioned where you want it. It's really cute, never seen a bluetooth antenna.I hope I've covered the most important aspects. The rear connections are minimal but it has a single stereo speaker output (L&R), and that's really all you need to know about the back side.Important: Initial set-up. If you purchase a unit, you will need to follow this advice, if you want the sound from the unit to get to the speakers, regardless of source mode. I know it's the case for FM and Bluetooth. You will not find this information in the instruction manual (which isn't bad btw). The bottom right knob on the front of the unit is the Input Selector. It has to be turned all the way to the right to the MP3 position, for FM radio and Bluetooth, otherwise, no sound. I couldn't figure out why I had no sound in FM at first, it was on one of the other 3 inputs, like AUX, CD, DVD which are pretty useless anyway in 2023. I was just lucky it didn't take me too much time to figure out.

I just wanted a basic bluetooth stereo amp. This performs very well, bass and treble knobs, small footprint, nice and loud, unbelievable that you can buy this for $50. I don't use any of the other functions but the BT sound is great. The dumb little mic jacks are silly but you don't have to use them.

It all seems to work fine. If I crank it up to high it cuts out, which is probably ok, it may be a speaker protection circuit. Does anyone else have this happen.Great crisp soundSmall footprint is greatPlenty of input. With the power it has it could handle a second set of speaker terminals which would be nice.

I set up this receiver up this morning and have been listening to it all day. So far I am happy with my purchase. For what you pay, you get quite a lot.Things that are good:- the sound quality is pretty good and has more than enough power for casual listening.- lots of inputs.- compact sizeThings that could be improved:- the FM radio controls are a bit confusing and it automatically added every radio station it can tune to the presets, and I haven’t found a way to remove unwanted radio stations.-remote volume buttons only adjust volume when in Bluetooth, FM, USB, & SD playback mode.- FM antenna is junk, and the FM connector is a European connector, so I had to order an adapter to put a better antenna on it.
