The kit is great, the directions aren’t the best and the included latch isn’t the best. But overall it’s a great kit.

Meh on qualityNice set over all but several parts are cheap quality. Some of the screws of the set are terrible!I think it is over priced. But not a lot of set options soooCreative but not entirely efficient. Could be designed a few ways.This was trial and error. We ended up not using all the pieces for our setup. We may buy two more sets but adjust the wheel placements next time. This one, we had to cut our gate shorter to get it to work. But if we planned better and understood how the device was setup, we would have bought two L brackets to place the wheels elsewhere. They don’t leave a lot of wiggle room. You have to get creative yourself if the way it is made doesnt work for you as well

Great Gate Kit but several design flaws and incomplete description (designed for use with Vertical not Horizontal style rails).Nice gate kit and I was able to make it work. However, it took some creative engineering, modification and a lot of time to adapt it to my needs by modifying one of the guide rail pieces (J) and extending it with an unused plate (H).As other reviewers point out, this gate kit was built for vertical style rails and not intended for horizontal style rails (note in my pics: both top and bottom rails are horizontal).A few adjustments to this kit would make it more easily adaptable to multiple applications ( e.g. adjustable guide plates "I", "J")Pro's• Nice heavy hardware• Looks nice• Provides a complete gate build kit (if compatible)Cons• Incomplete description: Should be highlighted that this kit is intended for vertical rails and configured for this specific application. (easily fixed by making the attachment guides position adjustable).• Design flaws: Wheel attachment screws are recessed under the wheel and virtually impossible to reach (easily fixed if screw mounting holes are moved out 1/2" from under wheel)• Instructions could be better.• A few adjustments to this kit would make it more easily adaptable to multiple applications ( e.g. adjustable guide plates "I", "J")

The gate parts are very good. The "only" downside is the screws. I saw a couple of past reviews and someone had said not to use the screws that come with the kit. Well, I decided to not to heed the warning. I have had several heads pop off and I have had to use ez-outs to try and remove the broken screw. I strongly suggest to use a better quality screw. Otherwise, a very good product.

I’m not sure what all the complaints are about on this, but I find this to be a very good product for the money. The instructions were fairly easy to follow. He just have to pay attention and not automatically repeat from one corner to the next. Just pay attention, and your gate will go together very easily. I am not very handy with these sort of projects and I’m very pleased at how it turned out.
