This box is absolute garbage. Cut out for speakers are to small had to trim. Box doesn’t fit under the seat as it should. Could let my seats down. Do not buy. Now I can’t return it cause I trimmed it. Now I just have 150 piece of garbage.

The enclosure is well made and fits in the Avalanche without any modifications, as long as you remove the black seat pans from the rear seats. It stays in place, fits RF R2 subs easily, and sounds good at very low volume. This is where things get worse. Once you turn up the volume a bit, the down-firing design forces your subs to snack into the carpet right away, muddying the sound and potentially damaging the subs. The lip that keeps them off the floor is too short, and needs to be extended 15mm, or 3/4”. R2 subs are not a high-excursion design, and this issue would be exacerbated with a beefier, higher-excursion speaker. Sure, you can shim the box to sit a bit higher, but then your seat will not latch in the closed position.I ended up selling this to a friend who was aware of the design issues but wanted it nevertheless, and built a custom solution for my Avalanche.

This box fits perfectly! Like others have said, you must remove the plastic bottom of the seats for it to fit. It sounds GREAT!!

Fit perfect in my 2004 Chevy Avalanche! You must take out the "under seats covers" for it to sit, the box supports the seats for sitting.

Everyone who says this box doesnt fit, didnt read the manufactures instructions. You need to remove the plastic panels under the seats and the small trim going down the seat legs. This box fits perfect and keeps the subs from hitting the floor by supporting itself on the seat brackets. My seats lock in place effortlessly and now my two 10's sound perfect!

This box fits, but if you run speakers they will slap off the ground and ruin them. I cant use this box and now I'm down 80 bucks. Do not buy! Maybe build a box that fires up instead of down!

This design is not good . The speakers are facing down and they are flush on the floor . Muffling the sound and not giving u the full range of your speakers

OK, here's my 2 cents for you Avalanche owners who want to purchase an under seat sub box. This box is well made and sturdy. Now if you want to drop it straight in and close the seat well that isn't as simple as you'd like it to be! You will have to alter the box to make it fit like you'd expect it to. 98% of the altering is on the passenger side of the box. You will have to notch the bottom lip (both left and right) of the box to get it to fit between the front seat supports which is easy enough. Next you will have to notch a few areas around the crown of the box in order for the plastic case under the seat to sit on top of it flush. You will also have to cut a notch where the box sits on the rear support in order for the box to sit down the 3/4 of an inch you'll need for the rear seat to close completely. It will take a bit of time trim if you want a good fit and the seats to close without jumping up and down on the seats! I used a multimax tool to notch and trim and it took about 2 hours of trimming and placing back under the seat taking out and trimming again to ensure a perfect fit. After you notch and trim and cuss a bit you'll need to pick up a can of spray bed liner to respray the material you took off. I couldn't build a box for the price I bought this one at and I'm very satisfied with the end result; however, if the box was 3/4 shorter in length and the passenger side crown was 3/8 instead of 5/8 and the width was 1/2 shorter the box would honestly fall right into place. I can add a photo if anyone wanted to see the amount of trimming required on the lip and passenger side crown. Like peeling an onion one layer at a time until you reach the sweet spot!
