I bought this to label my chromebooks chargers and the wooden drying rack that we use to store the chromebooks. It has worked well for that. The drying racks have 8 slots, so I wanted 8 different colors to make it very easy for students to tell which charger goes with which chromebook since if it's complicated, they'll walk off and leave them unplugged. I love my color-coded system! I also wrapped the correct color around the slot of the drying rack as well as putting a label with the number of the chromebook, as putting the name of the chromebook wouldn't really fit. (They are all named after Star Wars characters).

The tape seems to be fresh (not old) with good stretch although the purple color gets variegated when stretched with an uneven pull. The colors are not as bright as they appear in the photo but the red is red, the blue is blue, and the yellow is yellow. It is very easy to tell all of the colors apart.While the tape sticks to itself quite well, it does not always stick as well as I'd like to objects that I want. It does a GREAT job of sticking to the kitchen countertop even when I don't want it to. However, if I clean the surface of the object to be taped with alcohol or fingernail polish, the stick is terrific.I'm not an electrician and this IS electrical tape. For my minor electrical uses, I have a separate roll or three or four of BLACK and I use the black for electrical work. The colors are for sorting things. I make good use of them. And it feels like there are miles and miles of tape on each roll.Great width. Stretchy and wraps around things easily. I sorted my cleaning products by what they do, then wrapped tape around them to spray bottles and cans. Now when I really WANT something for the kitchen sink, I grab the YELLOW sprayers. And if I want to Kill Bugs Dead, I grab for the RED. If I want to polish the wood, I grab the BROWN taped dispensers. If I need air freshener, I grab BLUE. Makes my life easier. I now know that I have too much of some and just the right amount of others.

This is some of the best electric tape I've ever used. This tape is formable, and stays in place even after a bit of stretching and doesn't leave a residue. The colors are for sure matte and great for color coding in large rewiring projects and can be used for other tasks. I have been using the white to make labels and they can be removed and reused without leaving a sticky residue. Could be fun for the kids to use in arts and crafts, making lettering for posters or a garage sale sign. I am very pleased with the quality and the price.

I bought this tape for the different colours (which are great) but it rips in half very easily and is very flimsy. Pretty much only useful to mark things, not tape things.
