It's my fourth QNAP. All previous models that i had looked and worked like a tank, what made my loyal to the brand, but it looks now that the time when Qnap means quality is passed.The brand had very serious problems with the NAS's from the 72XT series bricking after a powering down, and it looks like the motherboard on the model have the same issue.Bricked after powering it down, 1 week after setting it up.I could have returned it to Amazon for a refund, but trusted the manufacturer RMA.It's been three weeks now and no estimated return date. Totally disappointed.So, do not get this model, if you want a QNAP, be safe and go for a conventional 3,5" hdd with AMD or ARM processor. If you want a flashnas, Asustor is the brand to go for now.

M.2に比べて価格が低い2.5インチSSDを使用して、静音なNASの構築を目指して購入しました。ファンレスのため、動作音は全くないのですが、本体の表面はかなり熱く感じます。アイドル時でも約45度になります。高負荷時の温度は測定していませんが、かなり熱くなりそうです。動作音を最小限にすることを重視していたので、2.5GbE、2.5インチの4ベイスペックにしては少々高価に感じるかもしれませんが、私の目的は達成できました。
