The easel surface is a DuraMax porcelain whiteboard and it includes adjustable hooks and a clamp to hold flipcharts. Product arrived with a broken little hook for hanging pads from the top. I contacted Quartet and they don't have replacement parts. They said to send it back. All for a two cent part.

Easel came in damaged: 1 Hook was broken off * and the bottom plastic tray that holds your markers (clicks open and closed) was laying in the bottom of the box. I contacted Quartet directly to get a new hook * but they do not have replacement marker trays. When you spend $340.00 on an item, you don't expect to have issues ** and we really don’t want to go through the hassle of returning the entire easel.

We purchased this for our office meeting room. It is a perfect size for a smaller conference room and is well constructed. Looks very professional. Is to move around for team meetings.

This is a gorgeous product not perfect but for my son's math and art needs is very suitable and versatile. For the price however the five rollers could be of a better quality. I would recommend this for anyone with a light to moderate need of a marker board that is magnetic with an Easel capability.
