The cuckoo calls on the hour and is followed by an echo and by one of 12 alternating melodies. A light sensor automatically turns off the cuckoo sound and the music at night, or they can be turned off anytime by means of a manual switch. The clock is personally signed at the back by the manufacturer Adolf Herr . His signature guarantees the experience of 7 generations of clock-workmanship. This is exactly what I was looking for in a cuckoo clock ... well-crafted, not too big, subtle but beautiful, and charming. The cuckoo sound and music are mellow.

I love this clock it's beautiful. However, it did not come with the weighted pinecones. I reached out to Amazon and was given a small credit but was told they did not come with clock. So I reached out to maker and was told I need to speak with Amazon. I will pay for the pinecones if i can just get them. Update: the company has reached out to me and is sending me the weights. I'm so in love with this clock and its maker. It is truly fantastic quality and sounds amazing. Thank u so muchUpdate; we received our pine cones directly from the maker. Truly a fantastic company and a beautiful clock.
