The belt on my Rikon 70-100 failed. To hedge my bets, I ordered this belt and one directly from Rikon. This belt is identical to the original yellow urethane belt and arrived sooner than the Rikon belt. The Rikon replacement belt is black rubber and made in China. It may work, but will just keep it in reserve. Very happy with my Amazon purchase.

No choice, here. The Rikon lathe has its own 1/4" drive belt that would have been hard to duplicate. Factory specs and the price was not a gouge (as it could have been).

I received the package a couple days ahead of what the original order said. The new belt was clean, no visible defects, and fit perfect. I installed it on my lathe, and set up an 8x8x2 walnut bowl blank. The lathe spun up and handled the work like it was new. After running the lathe for a couple hours, I removed the belt and inspected it. There were no marks, discoloration or any other defects to be seen. Over all, it looked new and performed well. I guess the only other test will be to see how long it lasts.
