Hitch was not as described. Described as 1 1/4" thick is only 1" thick.

I have had a new Harbor Freight quick hitch for over a decade collecting dust because it would not connect to my implements at all. the hook was either too thick or the mount for the hook was preventing it from connecting to the top of any implement.I got a new box blade and it is very heavy duty and although the blade works great i still wanted to drop it and go instead of constantly fiddling with connect and disconnect.Since I got the blade I have tried all sorts of ways to get the quick hitch to connect right and nothing worked. In my searching I stumbled across some article or post that said get the replacement hook from HF parts. I got on Amazon instead and found this one.I had the braces in the top holes on the box and the hitch trying but after I walked out to the barn it took me an hour to put everything the way it came and then I put the new hook on. Raised the lifting bars for the first time and the hook grabbed the bushing and put in place the box just fell right onto the bar pins.Fantastic. The new hook is a wonderful and it fits the original hitch and the holes. It is just extended out about 5/6 of an inch. It makes all the difference.

Just what I needed to make the HF quick hitch work with my L2501 and all my implements. No more interference from the top hook bolts

Bought this one for my HF quick hitch. All the others stated 1 1/2", this is 1 1/4" which is what the HF measures. Perfect fit, would recommend this to fix the well known problem with the HF quick hitch.

Lost my Harber freight upper hook. Got this to replace upper hook on quick hitch.Works good on my HarborFreight quick hitch .If I ever need one again I will buy from this company again.
