First, you must lubricate everything. I also replaced the cross bolt and captive nut with quality stainless. Otherwise it works perfectly. So far……haven’t pulled the stock knob off yet. The detent the stock plastic insert grabs is sharper and deeper than stock. Or you can go with an aftermarket bolt down setscrew style. I’ll update how long it lasts. But so far a cheap, had it in a couple days easy option. To be continued!

Does NOT fit without heavy modification to the shifter. Nor was it smooth after that modification. Looks very cheap, feels cheap. Very difficult to install. Not worth the price.

Terrible fitment, the same quality as the $17 ones. Have to modify with a Dremel to make it fit but even after I got it to fit the plastic holder breaks while shifting. Just stay away and save yourself the headache

I bought this with the hope it would shorten the throw in my 1985 e30. It does not mount/fit into the car correctly. Can’t vouch for any other generation but it won’t fit an e30
