I bought this one for the black color and believing the advertisement of being sturdy. I am completely content. Easy collapse like the other brand I have but the other brand is not as sturdy (does not need to be for that application), nor is it black and black is more professional appearance on stage. The collapse trigger is not intuitive for all musicians, really anyone I know but me so far. I like very much it in any case.

Quik-Lok T-550 provides solid, single-tier support for my ~45lb, 88-key keyboard. Equally stable at sitting and standing heights. Rotating rubber feet allow some adjustment for uneven surfaces.Ready to use right out of the box. No assembly required. Prefer Quik-Lok's welded top and bottom support construction over competitors' models with bolt-ons that tend to loosen and wobble over time.Trigger release height adjustment at top support is an improvement over old center pull-pin mechanism. Rating reduced to 4 Star because trigger release is poorly fitted, leaving a gap between the trigger and the upper support that can pinch the un-wary.Bought the Quik-Lok QLX/4 microphone boom stand accessory, available separately. Very happy to have smaller footprint and fewer things to trip over on stage! Highly recommended for singing keyboard players.
