I am writing a review because I asked a question here, if this stand would work with a Yamaha CY88, but nobody answered. So I bought it figuring I could return if it didn’t work out. This stand does indeed work well with the Cy88, the rubber feet line up with the hole and groove perfectly.Setup is a bit cumbersome and not something I would want to do many nights a week for gigs. I suppose you could mark the top shelf/sliding tubes for the width, but on first set up you guess, try the keyboard, doesn’t fit, remove keyboard and try again. It’s not too bad but I would have loved to see notches or markings for the higher end Yamaha keyboards this stand was meant for.Overall it’s a lifetime quality item and should not have any issues, hence the 5 stars.

I purchased a Kawai MP11se, which is a massive and extremely heavy stage piano. This stand is not only sturdy enough to hold the piano, but is endowed with the ability to adjust height and width making it the perfect stand for the MP11se.

I have a Yamaha CP4 stage Piano. This is the best looking, sharpest Keyboard stand that I have seen. It is very solid. It does not rock or wiggle. It extends to fit the exact with of the keyboard. The height is adjustable. It is easily disassembled for portability. I found it here at $100.00 cheaper than every where else. One complaint: It is slightly deeper than my keyboard. But, this doesn't bother me since it allows me to run my cables through the back bar. Otherwise, the stand is perfect.

Thank you to Amazon for this Great stand. It should be titled FOR 88 KEY MOTIF XF8, and most certainly offered once again on Amazon. Yamaha refers to it as LG-800.Thanks once more to Amazon for all the wonderful products received over the years!

The craftsmanship and materials are good, but vigorous playing causes the keyboard and stand to rock left and right. I experienced this issue much more dramatically in an old "X" type stand, so the Yamaha stand is a significant improvement, but still not the quality I expected for the price point.

The stand is definitely nice. It is robust, stable to play on, lots of leg room, height adjustable, very pleasing to look at, and made in Japan.Yes you can get cheaper stands, but why would you if you own a CP1. I am very happy Yamaha released this stand dedicated for my instrument. I like exclusivity.Been using this stand for about a year now. Absolutely no issue. Highly recommend it if you are a CP1 owner.
